The Legacy Award is a special recognition that the Valley Music Hall of Fame board presents to a person, organization or venue that has made significant contributions to the local music community. The award is given solely at the discretion of the board and is separate from the formal induction process.
Last year’s award went to the nightclub, “The Wild Blue.” This year’s award will honor drummer John Shafer, who recently passed away.
