Known professionally as BabyBee, Beverly Greene is a Fresno-based musician, vocalist, and community leader whose career spans more than five decades. Born in Stuttgart, Germany and raised in Fresno, Beverly began playing drums as a teenager and quickly became a standout in the male-dominated world of blues and R&B.

Throughout her career, BabyBee has performed alongside legendary artists including Bo Diddley, Fillmore Slim, and Elvin Bishop, earning recognition as both a dynamic performer and a respected leader in the regional music scene. She has also led acclaimed groups as BabyBee and The Goodfellas, and the all- female blues ensemble Oakland Blues Divas, building a legacy rooted in talent, resilience, and musical excellence. BabyBee has released multiple albums, including Back it Up and Spank It, Modern Day Women, and BabyBee Greatest Hits. Her electrifying live performances have energized audiences at major festivals and events across the country, including the Monterey Blues Festival and the Hayward/Russell City Blues Festival.

Beyond music, BabyBee has made a lasting impact through service and outreach by organizing healing-centered events such as Project Loving Memories, volunteering at the Diamond Learning Center, and donating food through the Fresno African American Farmers collective. BabyBee is a mother, mentor, farmer, and cultural icon who continues to inspire generations with her voice, her heart and unwavering dedication to the Central Valley’s artistic legacy.
